Personal Checkup

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2025-11-17

Personal Checkup (the “App”) is designed to be a simple, privacy‑respecting way to track small daily goals. This policy explains what data the App handles and how it is used.

Summary

Data We Collect

The App itself does not require creating an account and does not collect personally identifiable information by default. Goal names and completion status are stored locally on your device.

Optional Sync/Backup

If you enable iCloud or a similar system service, Apple may process data to provide cloud backup and syncing. That data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is associated with your Apple ID. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.

Analytics

We do not collect analytics by default. If we later add privacy‑friendly analytics (e.g., anonymous, aggregate usage), we will update this policy and provide an in‑app toggle.

Crash Reports

If you opt in to share crash reports with developers through Apple’s system settings, Apple may send us anonymized diagnostics to help improve stability. These reports do not include your personal content.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the App (e.g., Apple services you enable) or when required by law.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us to delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance.
